Umbari Organic Farm

Ecolife’s certified organic farm is located in Umbari, near the Kaas Plateau. The farm spans over 15 acres along the Western Ghats. It is situated approximately 2,000 feet above sea level.

The surrounding environment provides suitable conditions for cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants. The region has fertile soil, clean mountain air, regular rainfall, and a favorable climate. Therefore, it provides a suitable natural environment for growing quality botanicals.

At Umbari, we cultivate selected botanicals such as Turmeric, Ginger, Ashwagandha, and Shatavari. These crops are grown using certified organic farming practices. We avoid synthetic chemicals and harmful pesticides during cultivation.

In addition, our farming approach combines traditional agricultural knowledge with modern sustainable practices. We work closely with experienced local farmers throughout the cultivation process. This helps us maintain better control over raw material quality and traceability.

The farm is also surrounded by the natural biodiversity of the Western Ghats. Therefore, protecting the local ecosystem is an important part of our farming philosophy. Our approach focuses on responsible agriculture, soil health, and sustainable sourcing.

Nitral Organic Farm

Ecolife’s second certified organic farm is located in Nitral, near the backwaters of the Urmodi Dam. The farm is surrounded by fertile agricultural land and scenic mountain ranges.

The farm supports the cultivation of several medicinal herbs and botanicals. These include amla, turmeric, ginger, shatavari, ashwagandha, gotu kola, bhringraj, long pepper, betel leaf, papaya, mango, and mulberry.

During the monsoon, the farm becomes a lush green landscape. The surrounding waterfalls, backwaters, and natural vegetation support a diverse ecosystem. At the same time, our farming practices focus on maintaining soil health and ecological balance.

Every crop is cultivated using certified organic practices. We focus on responsible cultivation and careful handling of botanical raw materials. This helps preserve the natural quality of the plants.
